Kroger Purchases 8/22

Although we are pretty well stocked and I said we would be emptying our pantry, I couldn't pass up all the deals of the Kroger Mega Event. Shame on me, I have no willpower. According to Jenny at Southern Savers, the Mega Event will continue next week, so you have plenty of time to grab these deals. Check out her list for the coupon matchups. I do have a bit of a warning though, be wary of Shortcuts e-coupons because over $5 worth did not come off of my bill. I am debating whether I want to go to the trouble to contact them or not. I have read about a lot of people having the same trouble. So, I wouldn't count on them, although some did come off of my bill, just not all of them. I found that to be wierd, such inconsistency. The Cellfire coupons worked beautifully. I think I will quit counting on the Shortcuts and just consider it a bonus if they work! I also didn't get the $3.50 catalina that I should have gotten for buying (5) Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks. I am not sure if it didn't print or if the cashier just did not give it to me. I didn't think about it until I was already to the car and did not feel like going back. I had the baby and he was already worn out. Anyway, here is what I got.
