New Walgreens Coupon Book

Jenny at Southern Savers has found a great new coupon book at Walgreens. It is a Walgreens coloring book that is found with the other coloring books or close to the pharmacy. Although it is not free it would make a great filler item if you needed one. Below is a picture of the cover, so you know what to look for and a picture of the page of coupons that are inside. Kroger Purchases 8/1

Kroger was having two great sales this week, a $4 off when you buy (4) P&G products sale and a (10) for $10 sale. We are overstocked in our pantry and freezer so we are going to be eating out of those for a while until they are cleaned out. I will still have to buy milk, eggs, etc. but I will only be doing deals that are free or nearly free until we begin to run out of things. That is what I did with this trip. We are also stocked on health and beauty aids so any that I can get free will be donated, including the toothpaste in this picture. You can see the coupon matchups here.

Walgreens Purchases 8/1

I made two stops at Walgreens this week only because the first store was out of Ajax and the Goody hair clips. I shopped on Friday and used the extra 15% off coupon that was available on their website. That made the savings even better. You can see the coupon matchups here and here. This is what I got the first stop.

Trip #1

(8) Scotch Bubble Mailers, Pantene Root Spray, Pantene Shampoo, Pantene Conditioner, (2) Nabisco Saltines, (1) Ritz crackers, (16) Mars candies, and (8) Starbucks Frappacinos (one is mysteriously missing from the picture!)

The Nabisco Crackers deal generated a $3 Register Reward which I used to help pay for the next transaction.

Trip #2

(2) Ajax Dish Soaps, 2 boxes of paper clips (filler items), blue clogs (on clearance + 15% off made them only $3), Goody Ouchless Flex Claw Clips (this generated a MIR where I will get the full purchase price back, although I used a $1 coupon, moneymaker! Well, helps pay for the stamp at least.)

I used the $3 Register Reward that I got from the previous transaction to help pay for this one.
