Kroger GDA: Propel Water Moneymaker

If you are heading out to Kroger, look for Propel waters because they end up being free plus overage.


Here's how:

Propel Waters are part of the Mega Saver this week, that means if you buy 10 participating items you get $5 off instantly. They are on sale for $1 each this week. Look for hangtags on the bottle for $0.55 off. The coupon will be doubled which will make them free, then $0.50 each will come off if you buy 10 participating items. Keep in mind that Kroger only doubles up to eight like coupons, so you could only buy 8 propels and the coupon double. You could either pick up a couple other participating items or pay $0.45 each for 2 Propels. Your transaction would look like this if you buy 10 Propels:

Buy 10 Propels $10
Less $8 when you use 8 $0.55 hangtags doubled to $1
Less $1.10 when you use 2 $0.55 hangtags
Less $5 instantly for buying 10 participating items
$4.10 moneymaker

Kroger will not hand over $4.10, so you will have to have other items to take up the overage. That just means that you can get $4.10 worth of free groceries!
